Is Crew Active GDPR compliant?
Crew Active is developed in Germany. Your customer, employee and time data sits in an EU data centre, transmission is encrypted, and we provide a data processing agreement (DPA). A few add-on features use external providers, some outside the EU: map views via Google, push notifications via Expo, email via Brevo and, where enabled for your account, the AI reports via Anthropic, OpenAI and Google. Whether your use of the software is GDPR compliant is ultimately your call as the controller. We supply the technology and the contracts for it.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, the Crew Active mobile app works without an internet connection. Your employees can clock in and out even when working on job sites without reception. Data is automatically synchronized as soon as a connection is available again.
