Since 19 October, 25 new features have been added. All of them are in every plan: some are on right away, some you switch on under Account > Features, and some we unlock for you on request.
Scheduling
Files on the job
Attach plans, bills of quantities or instructions to a job as a PDF, Word or Excel file. Your team opens them in the app. Switch it on under Account > Features.The office can enter “Not available” too
If an employee calls in, you enter it on their page. If you deactivate an employee, Crew Active takes them off your company's future jobs and shows what is left. For everyone.Duplicate a job, in the app too
Admins can now copy a job on the go in the phone app. If that would book an employee twice, Crew Active asks first. For everyone.Tick off tour stops
On fixed tours, your team ticks off finished stops in the app instead of clocking in at every property. The stop's planned time is saved. On request.Internal customers for your own hours
Mark a customer as “Internal”, for example for office hours: it can still be planned, but it is not in top customers and not in billing. Crew Active does not suggest employees marked “Office only” for customer jobs. On request.
Time tracking
Check the company site
If your team starts at the yard each morning, the app checks at the first start of the day, at every clock-out, or both, whether the phone is near your company address. This applies to the company address only: no geofencing at customer sites. The check runs in the app only: what it checks cannot be tapped in the browser, and your team needs the current app. Switch it on under Account > Features.Automatic breaks by your rule
Besides the legal rule, there is now the switch “Deduct at most 30 minutes”. On an employee's page you can also set a rule of their own, for example up to 20 minutes after more than 5 hours. Both apply when your company's automatic break deduction is on. Switch it on under Account > Features.Working alongside your team? Clock in too
As the owner, you link your own employee login in the app. One tap switches between the admin view and your own job list with the time clock. For everyone.Take planned times as recorded times
If your team does not clock in, you take a month's planned times up to yesterday as recorded times at the push of a button, with undo for 24 hours. Times already recorded stay as they are. On request.
Time account
The balance at a glance in the office
Each employee's time account shows the balance at the top in large type, counted up to yesterday. A short note on the values at the top and in each month explains what they show. For everyone.Day overview for employees
If you like, your employees see a day overview in the app with start, end, break, target hours, plus/minus and their balance. Or you hide the time account from employees. Switch it on under Account > Features.Fixed monthly hours
For employees with fixed hours a month, Crew Active calculates target hours, workload and the time account per month, leave days included. If you want, untracked time between two customers counts as travel, per day at most what you set for the number of customers. On request.
Employee app
Invite new employees by link
Invite new employees by email or with a link from the Crew Active app. With the link, an employee is signed in to your company, even without an email address of their own. For everyone.Checklists to tick off

Office
The office on your phone too
app.crew-active.de adapts to your phone: the calendar as a day list instead of a month grid, plus a view of who is free when. So you can plan on the go in the browser. For everyone.Admin rights for employees
Give a foreman admin rights: they see and change everything in the admin view like the owner, in the browser and in the app, including wages, prices and invoices. The subscription, cancellation, the owner's login and granting admin rights stay with the owner. On request.Report a job as done
After stopping, your employee reports in the app that the job is done. Under Customers > Billing you see what is ready to bill, and by default the billing proposal only takes jobs reported as done. On request.
Data safety
Recorded work, better protected
Crew Active does not let you delete a job with recorded times, photos or a done report, and you set a customer with history to inactive instead of deleting it. If two people in the office edit the same job in the browser, neither silently overwrites the other's change. For everyone.Job photos from dead spots too
If a job photo could not be sent, it stays on the phone for up to 14 days. The app sends it again by itself later. For everyone.
